10 steps to becomming a better liar
June 2nd, 2006- Look directly into his eyes. Don’t look to the left.
- Don’t touch your face, don’t scratch behind your ears. Just keep lying.
- Start faking emotions before saying lie. Start smiling before saying “I love it”, etc.
- Learn to fake your smile well - with your eyes and the whole face. If you don’t know this part well - avoid smiling.
- Don’t turn your body or your face away. Stand still, look straight.
- Try not to place objects between you and the other guy.
- Use contractions, say “I didn’t do it” vs. “I did not do it”.
- Don’t get too far with details, it’s not common for the truth.
- Don’t try to change the subject! Don’t let the other one to change the subject - it may be a test. Stay on topic. Keep lying.
- Don’t joke more than you normally do.
